If you are a golfer there are ten golf courses in les Landes, some close to Capbreton, and six in the Basque country.
A wide variety of terrain and good class infrastructure.

As well as for sailbording, Capbreton is renowned for surfing.

The 7 surfing spots : 
 - Plage Notre Dame : Beginners to advanced. Practicable height : 0.5 m à 2 m. Best surf at mid tide. 
 - Plage de L’Estacade : Beginners to advanced. Practicable height : 0.5 m à 1.5 m. Best surf at mid tide. 
 - Plage Centrale
 - Plage du Prévent
 - Plage du Santocha : Beginners to advanced. Practicable height : 1 m à 2 m. Best surf at low to mid tide.
 - Plage de la Piste et plage du VVF : Beginners to advanced. Practicable height : 1 m à 2,5 m. Best surf at low to mid tide.

There is something for everybody at all levels, powerful tube waves at some places and easy ones elsewhere.
Generally sizeable waves and a North West wind, the advantage being clean and smaller waves when the swell istoo big to the North.
